Our background

Sweet Innovation was founded by Thomas Shaw BSc who is a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science & Technology (FIFST).

This is the highest accreditation within the UK’s leading food industry body and is only awarded to professionals with a demonstrable track record of achievement, seniority and peer endorsement.

Thomas offers 44 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry in senior operational and development roles. He provides experience, expertise, wisdom and working insight across a number of sectors.

This experience means that Sweet Innovation provides unparalleled access to a substantial network of industry contacts, as well as a large technical and research database.
